In his role of Managing Director at ATA, Knox has helped raise funding for Invistics, Qcept Technologies, Fortel DTV, Oversight Systems, OpenSpan Software, Jacket Micro Devices, Asankya, Zeewise, Beacon Software, Invirtus, Pranama and Aretta. Mr. Massey has also participated in the execution of an additional 30+ financing rounds associated with ATA portfolio companies, eight M&A events and two shutdowns. Knox is currently an investor in ATA portfolio companies Marketworks, Market Velocity and Beacon Software. Prior to his role at ATA, Mr. Massey held senior sales positions at America Online, served in a management position at the WestWayne Advertising Agency and worked within regional sales offices of the New York Times Regional Newspaper Group. Knox sits on the Board of Directors of ATA and the Angel Capital Association. He also serves as a general partner of Keith-Massey Partnership, LLLP. A good list. Thanks for compiling it. I’d add that if capital seekers can find angels not on this list, it will make their job easier as they will probably have less competition — and those angels are out there and can be accessed with patient and forthright networking and relationship-building.
